A wealthy farmer, blinded by his success, ignored a hurricane warning from his trusted barometer. His dismissal cost him everything—his estate, his family, and his life.

This cautionary tale reflects a profound spiritual truth: God, in His love, always warns us before calamity. “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7).

Like the days of Noah, when humanity was called to repentance before the flood, today God sends a similar message: prepare for the return of Jesus. Despite Noah’s 120 years of warnings, only eight souls heeded the call. The rest, consumed by disbelief, perished.

Jesus said, “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man” (Matthew 24:37). In Noah’s day, people were too distracted by daily life to heed God’s warning. Today, we see the same indifference amid escalating disasters, social unrest, and spiritual decline.

Yet, in His mercy, God has given us a final message: “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).

This Gospel of the Kingdom, which Jesus spoke of, is represented in the book of Revelation as the Everlasting Gospel, proclaimed by three angels with messages that echo Noah’s call to repentance and salvation: “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice...” (Revelation 14:6–7).

These messages are not conspiratorial or subversive but divinely inspired truths. They are the same gospel of salvation that has been preached since the Old Testament. God does not change, and neither does His message of redemption:  “For I am the Lord, I do not change” (Malachi 3:6).

The Year 2025: A Time for Action

Beloved, the warnings are not to alarm but to awaken. 2025 is a year to proclaim The Three Angels Messages. Just as the ark was a refuge for Noah’s family, Jesus is your refuge today. The question is: What will you do with this warning?

Ellen White reminds us: “Time is too short for those whose responsibility it is to proclaim these messages to allow anything to absorb their attention” (Testimonies, vol. 9, pp. 19, 20).
